After a long clinical practice at both specialties separately, including two years of internships in Parisian Hospitals, the Centre Hospitalier Sainte-Anne at Paris and the Centre Hospitalier de Meaux between 2006-2008, and the realization in 2007 of a University Diploma (DU) about Organics and Psychiatrics Comorbidity at the University Pierre et Marie Curie at Paris, she decided to join this practice in a common field of work. For this, she decides to become a researcher in Neurosciences choosing as objet of study consciousness.

She did her Research Master in Cognitive Sciences -COGMASTER- at Paris, jointly developed at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris, the Université Paris V and the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales. She started her PhD studies at the University of Liège on September 2010, in joint supervision with the Department of Psychology (I) of the University of Würzburg (Germany). She is working on the clinical assessment of patients with disorders of consciousness (coma, vegetative state and minimally conscious state) and on the utilization of the brain-computer interface as a diagnostic and communication tool in non-responder patients. With the intention to include psychiatry in this field of research, she has begun to study the presence of psychiatric disorders in the locked-in patients.

She is currently engaged in the European Project DECODER responsible along with the French Association for the Locked-in Syndrome -ALIS- for the evaluation of the developed tools.
