Victor Cologan

vcologan@student.ulg.ac.be Ph.D. student (Biomedical Sciences). Victor carried out 3 Masters in Cellular Biology & Physiology, Cognitive Sciences and finally Neurosciences at the universities of Evry Val d'Essonne and Paris-Sud XI Orsay. His multidisciplinary profile led him to work on various topics like mnemo-emotional interactions, neurovascular coupling, sleep and behavioral disorders. Joining the group in 2007, he specialized in the study of sleep in brain-injured patients. In collaboration with Dr. Drouot (President of the French Sleep Research and Medecine Society) and Dr. Parapatics (from the Vienna Siesta Group), he described a large variety of sleep patterns, some of them having a clinical value. Now he takes part of the neurological evaluation of patients with disorders of consciousness in various clinical centers by using 24H polysomnography.
