Vanessa Charland-Verville, neuropsychologist, is part of the Coma Science Group working at the Cyclotron Research Center and in the Neurology department of the CHU Sart Tilman University Hospital. She obtained her BSc. in Psychology at University of Montreal and worked on sport concussions in professional football and hockey athletes, and Master in Psychology at University of Liege. She is now pursuing her doctoral studies in Neurosciences at the University of Liege and currently has ongoing projects on the assessment of cognitive functions following a cardiac arrest and post-coma memories. Her other interests reside in investigating the neural correlates of "Near Death Experiences" and altered states of consciousness.
